As you may know, Sino Polymer traces its origins to a modest workshop at No. 130 Meilong Road, Xuhui District, ECUST. Upholding the university’s ethos of "Diligence, Practicality, Inspiration, and Virtue," and nurtured by the guidance of our parent company, Huayi Group, we have steadily advanced over 6 decades, blending academia, industry, and application. Today, we stand as a modern enterprise at No. 130 Muhua Road in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park—a testament to translating scientific achievements into tangible, industrialized technology.

No matter the size of an enterprise, excellence lies in refinement and persistence—"a  needle that pierces the heavens." Leveraging our "Specialized, Sophisticated, and Innovative" strengths, we have dedicated ourselves to perfecting our core expertise: industrial corrosion-resistant resins. Responding to market demands, we expanded from MFE-2 epoxy vinyl ester resins to develop dozens of variants across four series—phenolic epoxy, bisphenol-A epoxy, flame-retardant, and elastomer-modified vinyl ester resins—enhancing reactivity through double bonds and improving processing with reactive monomers. This mastery of epoxy resin chemical modification underpins our solemn commitment to industries such as petrochemicals, steel and non-ferrous metals, chlor-alkali and papermaking, and marine engineering: "With Huachang, corrosion is never a worry."

Simultaneously, as China’s high-speed rail, NEVs, wind and solar power, and hydrogen storage industries flourish, our second pillar—matrix resins for carbon/glass fiber composites—has made significant strides, gaining recognition in high-performance applications. Huachang’s resins now fortify wind turbine blades spanning over a hundred meters and secure NEV battery housings, ensuring safety and durability.

Aligned with national priorities, we embrace challenges—breaking technological bottlenecks, advancing localization, and diversifying polymer materials. From a single workshop, we now operate six specialized units, producing specialty epoxy resins, nuclear-grade adhesives, and adsorption/silicone materials, serving critical national projects. Our materials empower skyward-bound aircraft, cutting-edge naval vessels, and fourth-generation nuclear reactors, reinforcing our mission to support China’s strategic advancements.

Gratitude drives our social responsibility. We organize blood donations, honor retirees during Chongyang Festival, and fund scholarships and internships at universities—nurturing future talent.

Embracing ESG principles, we champion sustainability, pioneering eco-friendly solutions: biodegradable resins, bio-based polymers, styrene-free/low-styrene resins, waterborne/solvent-free coatings, and recycled fiber-plastic composites—fueling high-quality development.
